We are recruiting for a Procurement and Buying Manager who is responsible for optimising supplier agreements, procurement systems and sustainability efforts while ensuring optimised cost of supply and strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Buyer & Supplier Management
Key account management of top suppliers (defined by scale or business critically)
Negotiate and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the best value
Identify efficiency opportunities in product usage, specification, and pricing
Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers
Procurement & Systems Development
Develop and manage information control systems related to suppliers and purchased items
Ensure procurement systems provide accurate and accessible information to stakeholder
Milk & Farmer Relations
Work alongside the Chief Procurement Officer to manage relationships with farmers
Coordinate across departments (Transport, Technical, Finance) to meet farmer needs
Sustainability & Environmental Impact
Drive Scope 3 emissions monitoring and improvement efforts
Lead on packaging use through remove, reduce, recycle initiatives
Collaborate with suppliers and farmers to track and communicate sustainability progress
Utilise software solutions for efficient reporting and data recording
Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Management
Maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders: Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, NPD, Technical/Quality, Finance & IT
Influence and coordinate across departments to drive business improvement
Qualifications & Skills
Highly collaborative with strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to coordinate actions and influence stakeholders effectively
Strategic thinker who is proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong data manipulation and analytical skills
