About the role

SPTel is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement governance across the organization. This role requires a strong balance of commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, negotiation skills, and oversight governance, with experience in managing procurement activities across telecommunications, ICT, cloud, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and enterprise technology domains.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors
• Conduct compliance checks on new and existing suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility
• Create purchase orders and confirm delivery of goods and services
• Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
• Conduct tender process
• Manage outsourced warehouse and ensure enough inventory for deployment
• Ensure accuracy of inventory movement

About you

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
• Proven experience managing supply chain operations
• Experience using SAP
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Management and leadership skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
