Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Generate purchase order and maintain the filing system of purchasing records.
  • Verify invoices from suppliers to ensure all submissions for payment meets the Company guidelines and procedures.
  • Biweekly monthly reports of inventory and stock levels for management.
  • Coordinate with other departments internally on stock availability and delivery schedules and to maintain tight inventory control.
  • Coordination between management and all suppliers and follow up to ensure all goods are fabricated according as per request.
  • Follow-up with the vendors (local and overseas) if the supplies do not adhere to specifications or delivery deadlines.
  • Liaise with couriers, freight forwarders and agents to ensure all orders are shipped on time and in accordance with the customers’ needs. Ensure all shipping, customs, and import/export documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Perform quality checks on all received materials to ensure they are of accurate quantity and acceptable quality.
  • Responsible for sourcing, comparison, selection of existing/potential new suppliers and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor and manage cost efficiency, identify opportunities for cost savings or better margins.
  • Assist in half yearly stock count and ensure proper identification and reconciliation of inventory.
  • Responsible for implementing procurement strategies on urgent deliveries and long lead time items to meet project timeline
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between stocks and records.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
  • Working experience in sanitaryware and fittings environment will be advantageous
  • Able to handle Mandarin speaking suppliers (to deal with Chinese Associates – customers and suppliers)
  • Possesses a pleasant personality, good communication skill, resourceful, self-driven, proactive, willing to learn and independent
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and knowledge of ERP or Inventory Management System is preferred
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,650.00 per month
