Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring that our organization effectively sources and acquires the necessary materials and services to support our operations. This position requires strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is essential.
- Strong vendor management skills with a track record of successful negotiations.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and best practices within the industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in evaluating supplier proposals and contracts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with vendors and internal stakeholders.
