Description
We are looking for a talented Procurement and Supply Continuity Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team specializing in Purchasing for Fuel CellDepartment in Herten, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. This position is hybrid, with 80% on-site in Herten and 20% remote.   In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Execute material buying strategies that align with forecasted demand, ensuring suppliers are prepared with the capacity needed to support production and minimize supply disruptions. * Strengthen supplier performance by collaborating with sourcing teams to drive continuous process improvements while maintaining high standards for quality, cost, and delivery. * Analyze procurement initiatives and operational processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost optimization, and stronger supplier outcomes. * Prepare and present data-driven recommendations and alternative solutions to senior Procurement leadership to support informed strategic decision-making. * Act as a key communication bridge between manufacturing sites and suppliers, ensuring alignment on expectations, timelines, and issue resolution. * Monitor supplier performance metrics by collecting and validating scorecard data to support performance management and continuous improvement initiatives. * Provide delivery and expediting support to manufacturing plants during supplier disruptions, helping maintain continuity of supply and operational stability. * Support the implementation of engineering releases and system updates by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and compliance with procurement policies.
