JOB SUMMARY:

The Procurement Assistant cum Receptionist is responsible for supporting the procurement process, ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services, maintaining supplier records, and assisting in administrative tasks. This role also manages front desk operations, provides professional reception services, and ensures smooth communication within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Business Administration or Procurement is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in procurement, administration, or reception work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

Responsibilities

PROCUREMENT DUTIES:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and comparing prices.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions as per company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of suppliers, price lists, and procurement documentation.
  • Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and payment requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in evaluating suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
  • Support in maintaining procurement files and records for audit purposes.

RECEPTION & ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring compliance with security and safety protocols.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries.
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Handle basic administrative support such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference rooms.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the procurement and office management team when required.
