REQUIRED SKILLS

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills. Training will be provided as needed to enhance proficiency in any specific areas.
1. 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, with internships or administrative roles in procurement being a distinct advantage.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and filtering.
3. Fluency in English is essential, and strong Mandarin speaking skills are highly preferred.
4. Demonstrated strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Good interpersonal skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
6. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and work efficiently under supervision.
7. Foundational understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain fundamentals.
8. Prior experience within the consumer electronics industry is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Procurement Assistant will undertake a range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to, the following core duties:
1. Provide comprehensive support to the procurement team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
2. Accurately maintain and update all procurement records and the supplier database.
3. Assist in the preparation of purchase orders for confirmed material and service requirements.
4. Monitor and track shipments and ensure timely adherence to delivery timelines.
5. Coordinate closely with internal departments to accurately ascertain their material and service needs.
6. Generate comprehensive procurement reports as required.
7. Translate procurement documents and correspondence when necessary.
8. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with both local and international vendors.
