SUMMARY
We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team in the UK. This role is crucial in supporting our procurement processes and ensuring efficient supply chain operations, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality plant products.
DO YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS
· Are you disciplined self-starter who works under minimum supervision?
· Excellent communication skills and experience of managing suppliers?
· Excellent IT skills and have knowledge of all Microsoft office applications (especially Excel to an advanced level).
· Stock management and planning experience is essential, working in horticulture would be highly desirable but is not essential.
ABOUT THE PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT ROLE
Generally, Monday to Friday, 20 to 30 hours per week. The role is office based among a small and friendly team.
Salary is £24,980.00 FTE to be pro rata for hours worked.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
· Maintaining and aligning Planning requirements against orders (both made and to be made) on the PAT system.
· Reacting to changes made within the PAT system that affect the company’s ability to deliver goods to customers.
· Communicating changes to our purchase plan to the supplier base.
· Liaising with the key PAT supplier base.
· Reconciling order confirmations with planned purchases.
· Communicating with the stock planner and the stock controller any variance to the planned purchases
