For individuals who can take the initiative, but work well within a team. Responsibilities Purchase consumables, parts, services etc assigned in accordance with the Fugro Procurement Processes. Issue Purchase Order as per Procure to Pay instructions. Liaise with Front office Procurement team in Australia, Singapore or Hong Kong. Liaise with supplier on acknowledgement of Purchase Order Fugro QHSE or Fugro Supplier Code of Business Conduct. Liaise with forwarders to deliver the goods accordingly. Generate reports and monitor supplier performance. Select and continuously evaluate suppliers, contractors and other service suppliers. Ensure that materials are delivered to in the most efficient manner, in good condition and within the agreed time limit, and effectively deal with any returns. Qualifications / Skills / Experience We are looking for a tactical buyer who has purchasing running through their veins and who Has minimum Diploma holder. Has minimum 3 years working experience with knowledge of the ERP system. Has good understanding of ICO terms. Has good understanding of ERP system, preferred IFS. Works independently and pro-actively and details. Demonstrates ownership and has a sense of responsibility. Can work fast and accurately at operational level. Is convincing, adaptable and persistent. Is highly service-minded, both to internal and to external customers. Has a background in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. Proficiency in English is a must for this position. Proficiency in Chinese / Japanese speaking is preferred for this position. Responsibilities
The Procurement Assistant is responsible for purchasing consumables, parts, and services in accordance with Fugro's procurement processes. This includes issuing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and monitoring supplier performance.
