In this role, the successful candidate will enable the Latin American Region to fulfill the supply plan by working with 3rd party manufacturing and raw material suppliers. This role will also have the opportunity to enable the global supply plan by arranging global shipments. Also, this position will complete several purchasing/supply chain projects which could include: contract negotiation, process scale-ups at 3rd party manufacturers and/or sourcing new materials. Finally, the successful candidate will be able to interact with colleagues around the world to improve their Supply Chain and Purchasing skill sets.

Key Responsibilities In order of relative importance

• Allow AgroFresh to efficiently run our day to day business by completing the necessary Purchasing transaction in SAP system.
• Enable the global supply of materials by manage the vendor relationship with 3rd party manufacturers, raw material providers, and external sites
• Ensure the AgroFresh business meets their cost saving targets by completing Latin America purchasing projects and/or creating new vendor relationship for the company.
• Grow the AgroFresh manufacturing knowledge base by developing a vendor database with scoring functionality.
• Train fellow AgroFresh colleagues by leading the Latin America Superusers group
