Job Description Schedule: MON - FRI, 830AM - 5:30PM The Procurement Assistant supports the Sourcing, Operations and Finance departments in an administrative capacity. The Assistant is responsible for tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery, maintaining updated records of invoices and contracts, following up with suppliers to confirm or change orders, managing purchase order system, facilitating team reporting, and identifying diverse suppliers. Job duties • Manage purchase order and contract management system. • Place orders for goods/services and follow up with suppliers as needed • Pay and track departmental invoices. • Facilitate reporting and metrics on behalf of department. • Work closely with suppliers and internal clients to confirm receipt of goods and payment. • File and manage supplier compliance documentation. • Support client-specific procurement programs. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent experience. • Must be expert in MS Office and in spreadsheet software applications. • Experience manipulating data and building presentations. • Experience managing multiple internal and external relationships. • Understanding of ERP/Procurement systems and reports. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize deliverables with competing deadlines. • Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures. Additional Information The salary for this role at the noted RRD location is $21.45 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
