A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Procurement & Contract Management Service for a Procurement Business Partner. We have a vacancy managing the Housing and Growth & Regeneration Categories, supporting their services and internal stakeholders within:

  • Economy of Place
  • Property, Assets & Infrastructure
  • Management of Place
  • Housing & Landlord Services

We are seeking a motivated and experienced procurement professional to join Bristol City Council, a diverse and ambitious organisation with a £1bn+ p.a. revenue budget and £1bn capital programme.
Applicants should have experience of Public Sector tendering, ideally in the construction, housing and regeneration categories. Applicants should be qualified to MCIPS or working towards or extensive proven experience in a procurement/commercial setting (minimum of 5 years public sector procurement experience).
The role will require leadership and technical expertise to ensure that the Growth & Regeneration Category Procurement Team are well supported to deliver high quality procurement and tendering processes on behalf of the council.
Other key responsibilities will include possessing excellent project management skills, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, efficient resource allocation and the delivery of end to end tender opportunities.
