The Procurement Business Partnership Manager is responsible for authorizing comprehensive procurement strategies, driving buy-in, and ensuring successful execution across the organization. The role fosters a collaborative procurement culture, empowers a high-performing team, serves as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, translating business needs into strategic procurement solutions. The role oversees the performance cycle for all procurement activities, champions continuous improvement through innovation and best practices, manages complex situations with a global perspective and leverages a virtual community of procurement experts to drive Design for Excellence (DfX) principles. The role influences senior management on strategic decisions, secures buy-in for critical initiatives, communicates a compelling vision, positions itself for executive leadership, and demonstrates a holistic understanding of the business impact of teams and technologies. The role oversees all businesses of the Personal Health cluster. Your role: Drives comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, category strategies, and overall company goals, goes beyond just developing plans; but also involves driving buy-in, resource allocation, and ensuring successful execution across the organization. Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals. Empowers a collaborative procurement culture at a company-wide level, championing open communication, trust, and shared goals across internal departments and external partners, creating a strong procurement ecosystem. Serves as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, gaining deep understanding of business objectives, challenges, and priorities to develop strategic procurement solutions that directly impact business success, guiding and influencing senior management with insights and persuasive recommendations to secure buy-in for critical procurement initiatives. Oversees a team of procurement business partners and project managers, coaching, mentoring, and empowering team members to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional results. Strategizes continuous improvement in procurement processes and performance, identifying and implementing innovative solutions, leveraging best practices, and challenging the status quo to achieve greater efficiency, cost savings, and value creation. Orchestrates and oversees the performance cycle for all procurement activities within assigned business units, setting clear expectations, monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and escalating issues as needed. Manages complex situations and makes strategic decisions with a global perspective, considering business needs, company policies, supplier risks, and diverse stakeholder viewpoints to find optimal solutions. Builds and leads a virtual community of procurement experts, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the broader procurement function. Champions and drives Design for Excellence (DfX) principles across assigned areas, integrating cost-effectiveness, quality, and other strategic considerations into product and service design from the outset. You're the right fit if you have: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement Operations, or equivalent. Minimum 11 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 9 years with a Master’s degree, in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related areas. Significant procurement experience in consumer electronics, consumer goods, or adjacent high-volume B2C industries, managing complex supplier ecosystems and rapid innovation cycles. Experience in leading and managing large teams of 65–70 members. Strong people management skills with the ability to manage change, build high-performing teams, and influence stakeholders across functions. Proven expertise in procurement policies, processes, and supply chain management, with strong business acumen and risk management capabilities. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, budget oversight, and program management, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Familiarity with DfX methodology and experience in applying structured approaches to deliver sustainable value. Proven ability to drive change across the supplier network while fostering strong business partnerships. Extensive global supplier management experience, with a strong emphasis on Asia. Strong capability to accelerate and support New Product Introductions (NPIs) for faster market readiness.
