Job Responsibilities: Follow-up of procurement packages Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering Perform commercial evaluations of quotations Issue purchase orders Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality Manage variation handling Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing Ensure all activities comply with Abel’s guidelines, work instructions, and procedures Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration Qualifications and Personal Attributes: You are commercially aware You are professional and an independent team player You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines Experience with SAP is an advantage A high degree of data discipline is preferred Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar Required Work Experience: Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas Required Qualifications: Fluency Norwegian - both written and oral Planned start date: 07/04/2026 Planned end date: 31/12/2027
