What you'll do: The Procurement Category Manager in Logistics will define and manage the sourcing activities of Logistics solutions for Asia Pacific. In this role you will work in close collaboration with Operation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Sales teams to ensure best-in-class service level at competitive costs. In detail, you will: Develop and implement the best Sourcing Strategies for Logistics Main focus area is Inbound Logistics 1) Inbound Logistics services including Transportation 2) Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) 3) Returnable Packaging, ensuring proper execution and compliance Manage other areas in Logistics including Primary transportation, Warehousing, and Distribution Accountable for supplier cost performance & service level Enhance and further develop commercial relationship with key suppliers as to establish long term cooperation contracts Develop a collaborative relationship with key peers fostering standardization of the APMEA contractual setup Supplier Relationship Management: ensure proper governance in place by holding a strong commercial relationship with suppliers & stakeholders Search alternative and innovative logistics solutions to improve efficiency, promote sustainability and customer satisfaction Drive and promote continuous improvement actions by leading activities among the team, stakeholders, and suppliers Plan, organize and drive the best sourcing activities and tenders Accountable for supplier cost performance & service level Manage KPI’s and ensure compliance to contracted terms both internally & externally Provide market insight and relevant information to the organization Actively contribution in meetings, projects, and events to streamline and improve the APMEA logistics network Logistic reports / Budget Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Administration or Economics Minimum 5 years of professional experience In Purchasing or Supply chain Solid background in transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations Proven experience in leading people Experience working across multiple countries or region Strong adaptability with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, multicultural work environment Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills Fluent in English (written and spoken) Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage Where you'll be: You will be based in the Bangkok Office and report to Procurement Director.
