We are currently seeking an energetic and commercially driven Category Manager to join our dynamic Group Procurement Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement - Gaming & Sportsbook, this role is integral to the broader Evoke Finance function and offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic sourcing across our diverse brands.
As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible for driving the management and optimization of third-party spend across the group. Your focus will be on the sports and racing sectors, where you will partner with internal business stakeholders and supplier partners to build and execute impactful value pipelines that deliver tangible results.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement across complex deals and commercial roles, with strong value delivery and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, managing multiple workstreams while driving insights from complex data sets
• Contractual literacy with the ability to collaborate closely with legal and commercial business partners
• Knowledge of revenue-based models, mobile/social gaming, digital platforms, sports/media rights, and ESG practices, particularly Scope 3 emissions

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for identified product categories in the sportsbook and racing space
• Align category strategies with Evoke’s commercial and product requirements to deliver maximum value
• Identify value opportunities within the supplier and product landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Drive end-to-end procurement activities across all relevant sub-categories in both retail and digital domains
• Monitor and analyze supply market forces, trends, threats, opportunities, and regulations to inform decisions
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standards, and industry best practices
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and collaborate with the Supplier Relationship Management team
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to secure high-quality, cost-effective, compliant products, services, and solutions
