Description

The Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager drives continuous improvement takes ownership of the global process and ensures operational and financial efficiency. The role oversees procurement reporting to deliver measurable operational and financial benefits and manage process and systems for third-party supplier due diligence / risk / compliance with comprehensive understanding and ownership of reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Understanding of procurement processes and tools
  • Ability to manage & balance competing multiple priorities and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, cost and employee relations
  • Project management experience in a global environment
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others, by developing working relationships with all levels of the organisation
  • Experience of working in a multi-site manufacturing company
  • Ability to prioritise and plan
  • Stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Excellent I.T skills. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Degree educated or equivalent - desirable
  • Procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) - desirable
  • Recognised Project management qualification - desirable
  • Experience working in a global procurement / supply chain function - desirable
  • PowerBI report creation and maintenance - desirable
  • Prior training experience - desirable

    This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week based in our Kidlington office.
