EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and other departments to manage stock levels effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
  • Work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support as required.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes and efficiency.
