Role Overview Surbana Jurong is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified professionals for the position of Procurement / Contract Specialist for a proposed assignment in Uzbekistan. The role will support procurement and contract management activities for civil works under international development-funded projects. Key Responsibilities Manage procurement processes for civil works in accordance with international procurement procedures. Support contract administration and ensure compliance with FIDIC and/or World Bank requirements. Assist in preparation of tender documents, evaluations, and contract awards. Monitor procurement activities and ensure transparency, efficiency, and compliance. Coordinate with technical teams, clients, and contractors on procurement matters. Review and support contract management activities during project implementation. Prepare procurement reports, documentation, and related submissions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (professional procurement certification required). Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in procurement of civil works and contract management. Experience on World Bank or similar MDB-funded projects with knowledge of procurement rules and procedures. Proven experience in at least two similar projects in a procurement/contract role. Familiarity with Central Asia regional projects is an advantage. Strong knowledge of FIDIC and/or World Bank procurement frameworks.
