Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in upcoming orders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
Keen eye for details and ability to multitask.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Associate degree, or equivalent related business experience.
2 + years of work experience in an administrative or procurement environment.
Previous experience in a purchasing role is a plus.
Bilingual-Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.

Collaborate with internal receiving staff to list expected deliveries.
Contact the supplier with any issues or concerns that may arise.
Improve operations by working with team members and customers to find workable solutions to shipment delays and changes to POs.
Resolving issues with suppliers for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements.
Resolve any purchasing-related issues, such as discrepancies or delays, in a timely and professional manner.
Monitoring departmental emails related to Purchasing.
Attach the packing list with items received against purchase orders and the invoice to ascertain that all the information is correct
Receive POs in our inventory software (ERP- 3PL)
Create and allocate new items in the system (Excel and ERP Software)
Maintain item numbers and classifications in our capital expenditures list
Verify shipments by matching packing slips/bill of lading, purchase orders, and invoices
Cover teammates’ responsibilities when they are on vacation or PTO.
Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that procurement and receiving requests are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
Train cross-functionally to learn all roles and responsibilities within the department.
Obtain vendor quotes for all departments.
Assist with additional tasks within the department as needed
