Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders based on requisitions and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier data, and inventory.
  • Track and monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and shipment logistics.
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Project Management) to meet material and service needs.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and selection processes.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, delays, or invoice issues with vendors.
  • Generate regular procurement reports and support budget tracking.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvement in the procurement workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing role.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
