Position Summary
The Procurement Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our Strategic Procurement team by managing essential administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, enabling our category managers and sourcing leads to focus on strategic initiatives, and administer several 3rd party portals such as Travel & Entertainment Expenses, Corporate Cards, Fleet Management, and Freight as well as internal portals such as Supplier Compliance and Spend Categorization.
This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates are also expected to maintain a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to promote positive working relationships inside and outside of Scientific Games.

Job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide administrative support to strategic procurement teammates, including meeting scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence management.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
  • Assist with purchase requisition entry and order tracking in the ERP system
  • Support data collection and report preparation for category reviews, supplier scorecards, and KPI tracking.
  • Coordinate logistics for supplier meetings, workshops, and internal training sessions.
  • Assist in managing shared procurement tools, templates, and filing systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Monitor procurement general inbox and respond or route inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Communicates internal issues and external supplier problems to manager.
  • Support business process initiatives to increase productivity, quality, and effectiveness of procurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve processes.
  • Assist Manager / Supervisor with escalations as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge:

Required

  • 1-3+ years administrative job-related work experience.
  • Experience in enterprise-wide systems tools is preferred, e.g. Oracle EBS, MS Office 365, etc.
  • Minimum of a High School diploma and advance training; or college degree desirable.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills required.
  • Must be a self-starter and have a good understanding of data entry fundamentals.
