We are currently seeking: Procurement Coordinator
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for complete management of the shop, procuring and organizing parts and equipment for service jobs and quoted work, and maintaining cleanliness, organization, and inventory of the Service & Maintenance shop.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with logistics in a construction environment.
  • Experience working within OSHA safety standards in warehouse or construction environment.
  • Communication and team building skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal form to customers and on reports.
  • Industrious organizational skills, with the ability to manage many moving projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail in terms of inventory and equipment management.
  • Time-management and ability to prioritize business needs.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Previous experience leading teams
  • Project Management experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a Service and Maintenance industry

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in administrative or leadership role in client-facing organization
Responsibilities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and enforce OSHA & company safety standards in a warehouse environment

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Create and maintain an inventory system for parts in-house and loadout on technicians’ trucks.
  • Organize and track deliveries of parts in conjunction with Service & Maintenance team.
  • Routinely monitor and audit inventory of all parts.
  • In conjunction with Service & Maintenance team, arrange for timely arrival of parts and rental equipment on job sites as needed in accordance with weekly and monthly schedules.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and cleanly environment in the warehouse/shop at all times.
  • Suggest improvements in equipment and tools as needed.
  • Responsible for all outgoing and incoming deliveries, including resolution for returns, lost packages, and damages.
  • Establish and maintain good relations with all vendors.
  • Maintain routine maintenance of in-house equipment, including trucks, forklift, dumpster, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, breakroom appliances, and ice machine.
  • Enforce the completion of all required documentation such as inventory checkouts, safety forms, maintenance schedules, and vendor compliance.
  • Assist Service & Maintenance team with clearances for technicians on government and high-profile sites.
  • Quote customers as business needs dictates in coordination with the rest of the Service and Maintenance Management team.
  • Comply with company’s safety policy, site specific safety requirements and environmental policies & procedures, including proper use of required PPE.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Be on time for work, appointments, and required meetings.
