Roles & Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

Manage demand/material planning and local procurement for Flour Country’s bakery operations, ensuring raw materials and packaging are available at the right quantity, time and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Convert sales/production forecasts into raw material & packaging requirements.
• Manage local UAE procurement, RFQs, supplier negotiations and PO follow-up.
• Plan materials based on BOM/recipes, consumption, stock, MOQ, lead times and safety stock.
• Monitor inventory, DOH, ageing, expiry and potential shortages.
• Coordinate closely with Bakery Chef, Production, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop alternate suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track supplier OTIF, fill rate, pricing and material availability.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years’ experience in procurement/material/demand planning.
• Experience in bakery, food manufacturing, central kitchen, catering or FMCG preferred.
• Good understanding of bakery ingredients, packaging and UAE local sourcing.
• Strong Excel skills; SAP/MM/MRP experience preferred.
• Analytical, hands-on and commercially oriented.
