Job Description We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial in managing procurement processes for our construction and mixed-use development projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of the construction industry and a proven track record in procurement strategies. Professional certifications such as MRICS or CIOB required for our shortlist. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for construction and mixed-use projects Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors Analyze costs, prepare budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services Maintain compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards Evaluate and manage supplier performance Implement and optimize procurement systems and processes Stay updated on market trends and innovations in construction procurement Mentor and guide junior procurement team members Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, specifically in construction and mixed-use projects Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supply chain management, and cost analysis Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and mixed-use development projects Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Professional certifications such as MRICS or CIOB required for our shortlist Fluency in English Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Project Management Profession: Contract management
