Job Description The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for engineering projects. He / She will be in close cooperation with the Procurement Manager. Key Responsibilities Undertake the procurement and the pricing of the assigned packages to support Projects execution and Tenders preparation process. For assigned packages, source and propose the Bidders from registered Client and Company approved vendor lists and based on approved Procurement strategy Investigate market for new vendors when new project countries or new scope is involved Coordinate with all relevant in-house departments to ensure all requirements are included in the bidding documents and prepare/issue the Invitation to Bid (ITB) to the selected suppliers. Expedite firmly with and manage properly the market to achieve a minimum number of competitive offers acquisition. Maintain the Procurement Plan up to date Experience in working in international environment will be considered an asset Closely interface with the technical responsible and lead all technical / commercial / contractual clarifications with the suppliers. Liaise with Projects teams to define optimum vendors list and actual market prices. Perform commercial analysis and prices benchmarking versus Company’s historic database, schedule evaluation of bids and incorporate technical evaluation from Engineering. Finalize the Comparison Statement (CS) of the quotations and make recommendations for the technically acceptable offers. What you will need to have: MSc Engineering University degree in one of the relevant fields (Electrical) Motivation to learn and grow in Archirodon in the Procurement Dept Persistence and self-organizational integrity in fulfilling the work in its deep detail 3 - 5 years working experience and one experience as Procurement Engineer/Site Engineer/Tender Engineer. Adequate knowledge of commercial aspects. Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision and very short deadlines Commitment to deadlines and task requirements Fluency in the English language (oral and written).
