Procurement Engineer

Maravilla, a distinguished building contracting company specializing in luxury interior, exterior, and landscape projects in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer with a background in Civil or Architectural Engineering. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of expertise in procurement, focusing on fit-out and civil works to support our high-end construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement, with a focus on civil works, fit-out projects, and luxury developments.
• Strong technical understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.

• Identify and develop a network of reliable vendors and subcontractors for civil and fit-out works.
• Conduct vendor prequalification to ensure compliance with Maravilla’s technical, quality, and safety standards.
• Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive vendor database tailored to luxury construction projects.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for civil, MEP, and fit-out works.
• Evaluate vendor quotations based on technical specifications, pricing, and commercial terms.
• Prepare detailed comparative analyses to support strategic procurement decisions.
• Negotiate contract terms, including delivery schedules, warranties, maintenance obligations, and payment conditions.
• Draft and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in alignment with company policies and project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and design teams to ensure procurement aligns with project goals.
• Obtain necessary internal approvals for purchase orders and vendor contracts.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including quotations, POs, invoices, and vendor communications.
• Ensure compliance with Maravilla’s procurement policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve issues related to supplier performance, product quality, and delivery timelines.
