The Senior Procurement Engineer (fit-out) plays a vital role in managing procurement activities related to fit-out projects, ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials and services in compliance with project requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Material Sourcing:
- Collaborate with project teams to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for project materials and equipment.
Vendor Relationship:
- Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate terms for procurement activities.
Technical Specifications:
- Assist in defining technical specifications for materials and equipment required for engineering projects.
Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and budget constraints.
Cost Estimation:
- Analyze costs, prepare budgets, and estimate material expenses for project planning and execution.
Quality Control:
- Ensure procured materials and equipment meet quality standards and comply with project specifications.
Documentation:
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and relevant documentation for audit and project reporting purposes.
Supply Chain Management:
- Optimize the supply chain by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely deliveries.
Primary Deliverables:
- Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.
- Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities
Secondary Deliverables:
- Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for fit-out projects.
- Assess technical requirements and assist in preparing tender documents and RFQs.
- Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate prices, and review contracts and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain a database of approved vendors.
- Assist in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting related to procurement activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, conflict of interest, standards, rules and regulations at all times.
- Always prioritize keeping employee information and sensitive data confidential
- Prioritize and ensure full compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies established by the company.
- Accurate and On Time submissions of balanced scorecards.
- Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the actual performance for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
