Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration with a focus on supply chain or operations
  • Ideally up to 3 years of experience (internships, student roles, or junior positions welcome) in procurement, supply chain, or logistics
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • High degree of flexibility, team spirit, motivation and the ability to influence at all levels in a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Fluent German and English language at C2 level
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%, mostly within Europe)

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Contribute to product development projects as sub-project manager for procurement and logistics, coordinating all SCM activities
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Logistics, and strategic suppliers to ensure transparency, alignment and timely execution
  • Develop, plan, and implement supply strategies for several categories with a focus on cost, quality, delivery, and supplier reliability
  • Lead or support negotiations with suppliers including renewing of price lists, optimizing terms, and managing long-term agreements
  • Identify and nominate new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality team. Support their development to meet the required level for sustainable quality and on-time delivery performance
