Job Title Procurement Excellence Consultant Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity to work across both direct and indirect procurement, gaining exposure to a wide range of purchasing scenarios — offering rich professional development and cross-functional insight. You will act as a Business Partner, taking the lead in designing negotiation rules and contract awarding strategies in line with Philips principles, including game theory and auction-based awarding processes. Additionally, you will provide coaching on various negotiations and deliver advanced negotiation training sessions. Your role: Be part of and lead high impact tender / business allocation projects; Use advanced methods in designing optimal negotiation strategies, such as Game Theory; Build expertise in the global organization by providing dedicated negotiation trainings; Support and advice colleagues (supplier account managers) in their negotiations by acting as a trusted coach in their preparations; Manage stakeholders in a multi-functional environment and drive effective decision making based on Total Cost of Ownership principles; Be part of a high performing and focused team of experts with significant impact on the company results; Experience a valuable and fast track learning journey through the variety in projects in both direct and indirect procurement, covering a wide array of different product & manufacturing technologies and services in a multinational Healthtech company; Travel to various Philips sites within the country and occasionally abroad (intra- and intercontinental); Have the opportunity and drive new methods/ways in an organization that is leading transformation, including AI supported tech solutions; You're the right fit if: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; You have min 3–5 years of practical experience in Procurement, Sales, or negotiation processes; You have strong hands-on negotiation skills; You have advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, and enthusiasm for Power/AI tools; You are curious and think logically, allowing you to analyze topics thoroughly; You can navigate unstructured, complex decision-making scenarios; You are able to collaborate across multi-functional teams and confidently lead stakeholder discussions and decisions; You are an effective communicator — you listen actively, tell compelling stories, and influence across cultures and management levels; You are passionate about solving puzzles and enjoy strategic games; You have familiarity with Sourcing and Auction platforms (a plus); You have consulting experience (a plus); How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
