Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for all interior fit-out materials (e.g., joinery, MEP components, glass, metal works, finishes, sanitary ware, loose furniture, lighting, specialized items), ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead competitive negotiations with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, pricing, quality, and delivery schedules. Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and sub-contractors within the fit-out industry. Conduct regular performance reviews and manage vendor compliance and pre-qualification processes.
  • Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement processes, value engineering alternatives, and bulk purchasing, without compromising quality or project timelines.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, new products, material innovations, and pricing fluctuations specific to the interior fit-out sector to inform procurement strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Logistics & Timelines: Coordinate closely with project managers, site teams, and logistics departments to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of materials to project sites, proactively identifying and mitigating potential delays.
  • Quality Control: Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure all procured materials and services meet specified quality standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. Address any discrepancies or quality issues promptly.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and supplier agreements. Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, costs, budget adherence, and supplier performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant legal and industry regulations.
