Job Req ID: 21411 Procurement Buyer (MRO – Vehicles & GSE) Key Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and procure MRO parts and services for vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE), leveraging data-driven insights to support cost and lead-time optimisation. Liaise with OEMs, authorised vendors, and contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.Analyse RFQs, tenders, and supplier quotations using digital tools and basic analytics to support objective comparative evaluations. Develop and maintain supplier relationships, monitoring performance, delivery adherence, and cost competitiveness. Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure technically fit-for-purpose procurement decisions. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, audit requirements, and governance standards. Contribute to supplier performance reviews, including root-cause analysis supported by data trends, and follow-up corrective action plans. Maintain accurate and timely procurement records in ERP systems (e.g. S/4HANA), supporting data integrity and reporting.Support continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of AI-enabled or digital procurement tools for demand visibility, spend analysis, and supplier performance tracking. RequirementsEducation & Experience Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 1–2 years of procurement experience, preferably in automotive or industrial MRO environments.Working knowledge of financial and contractual terms relevant to purchasing.Digital & AI-Related Competencies. Comfortable working with ERP and digital procurement systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA).Ability to use data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, dashboards, basic BI reports) to support sourcing and supplier decisions. Familiarity with AI-enabled procurement capabilities such as spend analysis, demand forecasting, supplier performance analytics, or RFQ automation is an advantage. Willingness and aptitude to adopt new AI or digital tools to improve procurement efficiency and decision quality. Singaporean Only Personal Attributes Confident, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.Strong communication skills to engage cross-functionally and with external suppliers.
