REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or planning roles, preferably in machinery parts, equipment, or industrial products
  • Proficient in sourcing, supplier coordination, and procurement documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word); knowledge of ERP or purchasing systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage
Responsibilities
  • Handle the full spectrum of procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of materials, components, and equipment from local and overseas suppliers
  • Process purchase requisitions from internal teams (Sales, Project, Operations) and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time
  • Monitor and follow up on order confirmations, production progress, shipment schedules, and documentation (e.g., packing lists, invoices) to ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments (e.g., Warehouse, QC, Finance) to ensure smooth coordination of goods receipt, inventory control, and supplier payment processing
  • Support supplier selection and onboarding, including price and contract negotiations, while ensuring compliance with company policies and documentation standards
  • Track and manage inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations, aligning with project and operational needs
  • Maintain up-to-date procurement records, including POs, supplier contracts, cost sheets, and shipment statuses
  • Prepare and issue tax invoices, quotations, and purchasing documents as required
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply delays, quality issues, or non-conformance from suppliers
  • Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, such as cost variances, supplier performance, and delivery timelines
  • Perform any other procurement-related duties or ad-hoc assignments as directed by management
