Responsibilities

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supporting the development of category sourcing strategies for the Market Procurement Managers (MPMs) in each category area in the Health Systems business including Outsourced healthcare services and 3rd party products (e.g. hardware, software, accessories & medical equipment)
  • Supporting the Procurement Managers in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and supporting driving category implementation strategies by partnering on activity from the bid through to tender and award for both the modality sales teams and the Managed Services Space
  • Challenge and develop a full understanding of the cost base and total cost of ownership of the category, working with global commodity teams to align on best practice for all markets by providing analysis of spend, suppliers etc for the MPMs
  • Supporting the MPM on driving new strategic activity through pro-active negotiation with the supply base
  • Supporting the MPM on developing sourcing strategies in line with global policy, balancing global & local agreements
    You are a part of a world class procurement function embedded into the EMEA North West Procurement organization with links to the global sourcing team and you will have also opportunity to support the other zones in Europe for key projects.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A recent (2023 or later) bachelor’s degree, ideally be in a related subject (ie. Business, Finance, Maths, Economics, or you should demonstrate your numeracy / analytical skills elsewhere i.e., work experience)
  • Evidence of high-performance background (for example through your academic and/or extra-curricular activities).
  • Autonomously motivated, unafraid to take the initiative to drive process improvements for the team
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to C-level working in a pressured and international environment
  • French language skills would be an additional bonus, but not a prerequisite for the role
