YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential

  • A continuous improvement mindset, with proven experience of generating and implementing ideas that drive improvement, applying problem-solving skills, and working collaboratively with others to deliver solutions, ideally within a procurement or similar environment
  • Ability to work effectively in an agile and dynamic environment, responding flexibly to emerging demands and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including delegation, coaching, and people management, with the ability to empower and develop teams
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of supplier risk and opportunity management

Desirable

  • Experience of managing or contributing to early lifecycle programmes within a supply chain environment
  • Experience of managing strategic internal customer relationships, with the ability to build and sustain trust
  • Working knowledge of lifecycle and governance processes
  • Possession of, or actively working towards, MCIPS or an equivalent professional qualification, or a degree in a business-related subject
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary interface between the E&I Capabilities team and the Procurement function, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and performance objectives
  • Act as an embedded member of the IPT, providing proactive procurement support, supplier management insight, and commercial risk mitigation
  • Manage supplier performance through the SDU, covering delivery, pricing, and contract execution
  • Support internal approvals and governance processes, including requests for bid approvals, bid status reviews, and lifecycle management
  • Lead integration activities across the portfolio of programmes, supporting new business opportunities, providing a vital business interface, and driving the procurement response to these opportunities
  • Provide support to the Europe Business Partner in senior leadership forums
