Description
  • Own the day-to-day performance of the procurement function and support the Procurement Administrator with priorities and supplier issues.
  • Improve MRP accuracy and automation, reducing reliance on manual Kanban, spreadsheets and duplicate processes.
  • Develop purchasing requirements using historic usage, the order book and sales forecasts.
  • Identify and develop new and alternative suppliers globally to improve cost, quality, lead time and resilience.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs and commercial terms, including blanket and call-off arrangements.


  • The Procurement Lead will have:Strong procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of MRP and ERP systems. SAP Business One would be highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear actions.
  • A strong understanding of demand forecasting and inventory planning.
