Job responsibilities include: Lead a team supporting Direct and Indirect procurement across Australia and New Zealand. Drive procurement targets and act as the escalation point for ANZ procurement matters. Lead strategic sourcing, negotiation and supplier management activities to deliver cost savings and business value. Manage the Energy category, including supplier relationships, category strategies, and sourcing initiatives. Develop and execute category plans based on market analysis, supplier insights, and business needs. Partner with Finance to support forecasting, cost management, and procurement transformation initiatives. Ensure supplier compliance, risk management, and adherence to company policies and controls. Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver quality, service, innovation, and value. Challenge the status quo and influence stakeholders to drive change and continuous improvement across procurement activities. Coach and mentor procurement team members, promoting best practices in negotiation and category management. Contribute to procurement strategy, business planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and/or skills: Required: 5+ years' experience in Procurement, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or a related field. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to deliver cost savings, value creation, and business outcomes. Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders at multiple levels. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring teams. Preferred: Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline. Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing, packaging, logistics, or similar industries. Experience leading procurement transformation or continuous improvement initiatives. Category management experience across Direct Materials, Energy, Logistics, MRO, CAPEX, Professional Services, IT, or Marketing. Experience working across multiple regions and cultures.
