POSITION:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the business through a period of transformation, with a focus on optimising procurement processes and supporting systems, building strong relationships with key suppliers, and driving cost savings across the business.
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our Worcester location twice a week.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within a software or technology business.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, tendering processes and supplier management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and data analytics is preferred.

GENERAL PROCUREMENT DUTIES

  • Develop reporting to track and analyse key procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, price increases and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
  • Support budget holders with procurement planning and supplier selection.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value for money.
