Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchase order, and delivery.
• Develop and implement effective local and international procurement strategies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers locally and internationally.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement expenditure.
• Manage import procurement, international suppliers, shipping, logistics, and customs coordination.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, components, equipment, and services.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, commercial comparisons, and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation through Odoo ERP.
• Use Odoo Procurement/Purchase, Inventory, and related modules to monitor purchasing activities, supplier orders, stock requirements, and deliveries.
• Coordinate closely with Finance, Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Operations.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, budgets, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead and supervise the procurement team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong expertise in local and international procurement.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, particularly the Purchase/Procurement and Inventory modules.
• Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, commercial evaluations, and supplier qualification.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet tight deadlines.
• CIPS or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• Understanding of manufacturing procurement including sourcing of raw materials, mechanical components, electrical/electronic components, equipment, and services from UAE and international markets.
