Description

We are looking for a Procurement Manager having experience in MEP & Civil contracting works to join our team. You will be responsible for sourcing and procuring MEP & Civil related goods and services for our company. The Procurement Manager will lead and oversee procurement activities across Group, supporting both internal operational needs and project-specific requirements. The role is key to driving value, ensuring compliance, and delivering procurement strategies that support the company’s multi-disciplinary construction model.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Quantity Surveying, or related field. (Engineering background is an advantage but not essential.)
  • Minimum of 20+ years’ experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain ideally with EPC Contractor
  • CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent professional procurement qualification
  • Familiarity with commercial terms, legal clauses, and consultancy-specific contract structures (e.g., lump sum, time & materials).
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
    · Ability to work under pressure with minimum or no supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment.
    Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Management of the team ensuring high performance and productivity.
  • Guides the sourcing efforts to establish high quality and cost-effective supplier relationships.
  • Identify cost saving opportunities that will enhance the profitability of the company.
  • Continuously engage in identifying areas of improvement through data driven research.
  • Manage supplier relationships effectively which would include effective onboarding, tracking delivery as per committed timelines and quality.
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure a smooth workflow within the procure to pay process and lead process and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist in the development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Focused on details and represents analytical mind set.
  • Work closely with the projects team within Supply Chain and other departments to understand details of procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance of established purchasing policies and procedures. Conduct ongoing reviews of same and implement continuous improvements where required.
  • Maintain detailed records of all relevant documents using effective filing techniques for jobs completed.
  • Lead procurement efforts across construction projects and internal operations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand scope of services and translate project requirements into effective sourcing strategies
  • Manage procurement for subcontracted services, external consultants, specialist vendors, and project-related resources
  • Develop and implement procurement plans, sourcing strategies, and tendering processes for multi-disciplinary engineering projects
  • Lead commercial evaluations and negotiations, ensuring contracts and terms are compliant, robust, and commercially advantageous
  • Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, reliability, and performance
  • Maintain procurement governance and documentation in line with internal policies and ISO standards
  • Develop and monitor inventory control procedures
  • Develop and monitor purchasing policies
  • Manage vendors & monitor supplier performance
  • Understand, analyze, and evaluate enterprise-wide procurement requirements for products and services
