• Processing of purchase requisitions and purchase order proposals in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Obtaining, evaluating and negotiating offers, as well as selecting suitable suppliers.
• Initiating and monitoring orders, as well as ensuring the timely supply of materials.
• Tracking of delivery dates and active escalation management in case of schedule deviations.
• Conducting price, terms and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Building, maintaining and developing strategic supplier relationships
• Conducting market, price and supplier analyses to identify potential savings.
• Support for bid and project management in calculations and offer preparation.
• Participation in tenders and preparation of bid and profitability comparisons.
• Maintenance of supplier, article and contract master data in the ERP system
• Handling of complaints, returns and supplier claims
• Creation of purchasing KPIs, analyses and reports
• Identification and implementation of process improvements and optimization measures in purchasing
• Supporting the Head of Purchase & Supply in strategic purchasing projects and special topics

Your profile

• Successfully completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further training in purchasing, materials management or supply chain management.
• Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing
• Experience in supplier management as well as in price, terms and contract negotiations
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
• Excellent negotiation skills and a confident and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Assertiveness, resilience and a sense of responsibility
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP Business ByDesign
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
