Description

AGENCIES

Eastlight’s current agency PSL is at capacity, so we will not be able to consider candidate applications introduced by agencies outside of our selected suppliers.

WHO WE ARE

Eastlight Community Homes is proud to be the largest community gateway social housing provider in the country. Together with our residents and communities, we create safe, affordable homes and neighbourhoods that people are proud to live in.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Eastlight’s Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis! This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Procurement function, ensuring a cost-effective and compliant service that aligns with our organisational goals, including our commitments to Environmental, Equality, and Health & Safety standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts for works, goods, and services, while providing expert procurement advice to colleagues across Eastlight. You’ll guide departments to adhere to our Contract and Tender Procedures, identify areas of spend that require new procurement arrangements, and support budget holders with commercially sound advice. You’ll also play a key role in promoting the strategic importance of procurement across the organisation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including PA23. Alongside this, you will promote effective communication across teams and encourage a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be a professional with significant experience in contract negotiation, public procurement legislation, and budget management. You’ll have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, promote collaboration, and ensure customer needs shape the services we deliver. A relevant procurement qualification (such as CIPS Level 5) is essential, alongside a proactive, strategic approach to resource management and service delivery.
