You’ll own procurement strategy and execution for core ingredients and packaging, ensuring that Eat Just delivers on growth, cost efficiency, and operational excellence. Acting as the connective tissue between Product, R&D, Operations, and our external partners, you’ll drive sourcing strategies that balance cost, risk, quality, and speed—enabling smooth product launches and long-term scalability. What You’ll Do Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw ingredients, packaging, and co-manufacturing partnerships. Build, manage, and optimize supplier relationships with a focus on cost, quality, service, and risk mitigation. Lead contract negotiations across pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times to maximize value and flexibility. Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. New Product Introduction (NPI) & Commercialization Lead sourcing and supply chain readiness for new product launches—owning timelines, sourcing plans, and supplier deliverables. Serve as the NPI supply chain lead across Product, R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Operations teams. Identify and mitigate risks around ingredient availability, packaging readiness, and manufacturing capacity. Ensure seamless handoffs into commercialization with contract manufacturers and packaging partners. Supply Chain Partner with Operations to strengthen end-to-end supply chain resilience, cost control, and scalability. Drive data-driven decision making through cost modeling, supplier scorecards, and scenario planning. Influence cross-functional priorities to ensure supply chain considerations are embedded early in the innovation process. What Sets You Apart 10+ years of proven success in procurement and supply chain leadership, ideally in food, CPG, or manufacturing. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and urgency. Strong negotiation skills and creativity in solving for cost, lead time, and supply constraints. Analytical, data-driven approach to supplier and supply chain optimization. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills across internal teams and external partners.
