Purpose of the Position:
· Primary responsibility for identifying key suppliers, negotiating supplier contracts and ensuring all products and services meet defined and negotiated standards. Oversee the strategic acquisition of materials, goods and services needed across all key aspects of the organization.
· To evaluate, develop, implement the businesses’ procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Grade 12
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
· Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in South Africa
· Microsoft Dynamics D365 certified will be advantageous.

EXPERIENCE:

· Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g CPSM, CPIM).
· Experience in the industry relevant to the company’s operation eg parts, automotive and external service providers
· Proficiency in ERP systems and other procurement software.
· Effectively managing a team and driving performance.
· Experience in drawing up legally binding contracts and contract negotiation
· Understanding of BBBEE and in particular the Preferential Procurement and Enterprise Development codes
· Experience in supply forecasting and OEM relations advantageous.
