You can work with peace of mind regarding the future while being involved in the creation of high-quality products.Responsibilities– Intercompany Procurement Management (30%) - Manage purchasing requirements from group companies; lead the process from PO to delivery; coordinate with business units and global procurement/supply chain teams on lead times and supply issues
– Third-Party Procurement & Sourcing (25%) - Identify and select external suppliers in Japan; negotiate RFQ/RFP processes; pricing/terms; support contract renewals; develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and service levels
– Vendor/Supplier Management (20%) - Build relationships with key suppliers; manage KPIs and scorecards; conduct regular reviews and improvement actions
- Supplier Evaluation, Audit & Compliance (10%) - Conduct supplier evaluation, qualification, audits, corrective action follow-
up
; Partner with Business Units, Finance, Legal, Quality, and Logistics to resolve procurement topicQualifications– 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supplier management
– Experience handling both intercompany and third-party procurement
– Experience in vendor selection, price/contract negotiation, supplier evaluation, and KPI management
– Experience with SAP or ERP-based purchasing and PO operations
– People manager experience (3+ years) and/or project manager experience (3+ years)
– Business-level Japanese and English (communication, negotiation, documentation)
– Ability to explain using data, prioritize multiple tasks, and drive actions logically
– Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related fieldWelcome– Experience in supplier audits, quality/compliance assessment, and corrective action management
– Experience in medical devices, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineering sectors
– Improvement working with overseas group companies/suppliers in a multinational environment
– Track record in procurement process, cost reduction, and risk mitigation
– Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, or other procurement systems; ISO 9001/13485; supplier quality management

Salary Annual salary of approximately 7 million to 10 million yen
