Job Title: Procurement Manager – Frozen Foods IndustryJob Summary
The Procurement Manager will oversee and manage the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management of raw materials, packaging, and supplies for the frozen foods division. This role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, vendor management, and compliance with quality and food safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in frozen foods or FMCG industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of cold chain logistics and frozen food supply requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production and business goals.
  • Source reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and frozen food-related requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Inventory & Supply Planning
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage lead times and reduce procurement-related delays.
  • Monitor stock movement for cold storage and frozen food products.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all purchased materials meet food safety and quality standards (HACCP, ISO, FDA, etc.).
  • Comply with import/export regulations and documentation (if applicable).
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes impacting procurement.
  • Financial Control & Reporting
  • Prepare procurement budgets and cost analysis reports.
  • Implement cost-control initiatives to improve profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
