Role Description The Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role oversees the end-to-end procurement process for shipchandling supplies, including identifying requirements, sourcing products, and ensuring timely delivery to vessels. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating closely with operations and logistics teams to meet vessel schedules. The Procurement Manager will analyze purchasing data, track market trends, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. The role also involves continuous process improvement to optimize cost, quality, and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement and sourcing skills, including experience in Procurement and Supplier Evaluation for maritime or logistics-related operations.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, with the ability to secure favorable terms and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for cost analysis, demand forecasting, and performance monitoring, supported by data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of maritime supply chains, shipchandling products, and international trade practices; familiarity with UAE import and export regulations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and vessel operations teams.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting strict deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are beneficial.
• Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within maritime, logistics, or industrial sectors.
