Lead procurement, inventory and supplier outcomes for a growing Gold Coast business.

Your new company

Join an established technical products supplier during a period of business growth. This senior role will strengthen procurement, inventory planning and supplier performance across the operation.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will connect head office, warehousing and operational teams. Your work will improve material availability, stock accuracy and customer delivery outcomes.

Your new role

You will lead purchasing and procurement while supporting planning, logistics and warehousing. The role covers the full goods flow, from strategic sourcing through to final customer delivery.

A key focus will be building an integrated supply chain approach. You will align supply, demand and capacity while driving practical improvements across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing with senior leadership to secure quality materials at competitive costs.
• Improve supplier relationships, commercial terms and purchasing outcomes.
• Oversee sales and operations planning across supply, demand and capacity.
• Strengthen inventory controls, stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Manage third-party logistics partnerships and storage arrangements.
• Improve forecasting, scheduling and raw material availability.
• Support import, export, freight and domestic transport activities.
• Align procurement priorities with Sales, Operations and Customer Service.
• Improve ERP use, reporting accuracy and procurement processes.
• Build clear communication between head office and warehouse teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least five years' experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, distribution or a related environment.
• Strong commercial purchasing and supplier relationship management skills.
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Hands-on demand planning, forecasting and inventory optimisation experience.
• A track record of delivering measurable purchasing efficiencies.
• Leadership experience across operational or cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP platforms and Microsoft applications.
• Microsoft Dynamics or Wise exposure would support your application.
