Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the purchasing of raw materials, equipment, and services. This role ensures cost-effective procurement and efficient logistics to support production and operational goals. Key Responsibilities Analyze inventory and financial data to support production planning. Develop and maintain purchasing plans aligned with inventory targets. Negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships. Coordinate new packaging rollouts and item execution processes. Process purchase orders and ensure compliance with purchasing policies. Manage purchasing data through MRP systems and conduct market analysis. Expedite critical orders and manage logistics providers (domestic/international). Implement supplier performance metrics and conduct quarterly reviews. Support budget preparation and monitor expenditures. Maintain documentation, databases, and process improvement initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field. Minimum 2 years of logistics and purchasing experience. Experience in process manufacturing and business management. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Experience in consumer-packaged goods, ideally in the pet category. Strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
