Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across assigned indirect procurement categories.
• Develop and implement category strategies that deliver commercial value, operational efficiency, and sustainable cost savings.
• Lead competitive sourcing activities including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tender evaluations.
• Develop tender evaluation methodologies, supplier selection criteria, and commercial evaluation frameworks.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, service contracts, and long-term supplier partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Drive procurement governance by ensuring compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for procurement process improvements, supplier optimization, and procurement transformation initiatives.
• Conduct commercial and financial analysis to support procurement decisions and maximize value for money.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational requirements and procurement priorities.
• Develop procurement plans and budgets aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor procurement performance, contract compliance, and supplier service delivery.
• Support risk management initiatives and ensure procurement activities align with organizational governance standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small procurement team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day procurement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 6–8 years of progressive procurement experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience operating as a Procurement Manager or equivalent procurement leadership role with responsibility for end-to-end category ownership.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement planning.
• Demonstrated success negotiating commercial contracts and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Proven experience managing supplier relationships, procurement governance, and contract performance.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, service, and operational requirements.
• Experience managing RFIs, RFQs, RFPs and tender evaluation processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring procurement teams while remaining hands-on in procurement execution.
